An Early U.S. Civil War Whitney-P.E.W. Blake Model 1816-1822 Improved Flintlock Musket Dated 1826 In Excellent Untouched Condition. The musket has fine plus metal & markings throughout with crisp edges. Dated 1826 on the lock and barrel. All of the metal on the gun has a very even & untouched patina darkening patina throughout mixing with some original brownish color on all parts. The lock & markings are excellent throughout with crisp edges. It also has some original color left on it. The musket has fine plus wood and edges throughout. It has a wonderful and beautiful color on it. There is a "U.S. Inspectors Cartouche" on the backside. The musket has an excellent untouched bore and action. This Is A Very Fine to Excellent Example Of An Early U.S. Civil War Whitney-P.E.W. Blake Model 1816-1822 Improved Flintlock Musket Dated 1826. Early U.S. Flintlock Muskets Like This Are Very Hard To Come By!
