Offered is an exceptional antique Otto Schneelock percussion Schützen rifle, manufactured in Brooklyn, New York, and restored to the highest standard by Turnbull Restoration. Schneelock rifles are scarce, particularly New York–made examples, and this rifle represents a rare opportunity to acquire a first-class American Schützen rifle in outstanding condition.
The rifle features a 32 1/2" hook-breech barrel with an excellent bore and a properly crowned muzzle. The set trigger is fully functional, breaking cleanly as intended. The rifle retains its original sights and classic Schützen buttplate, preserving the correct period profile.
This rifle was treated to a full, professional Turnbull restoration, resulting in exceptional fit, finish, and mechanical integrity while maintaining correct historical character.
