Description:
We are presenting this S&W .22 cal. snub nose kit gun in the original box serial numbered to the gun, papers & sheet manual. The grips are excellent original and numbered to the pistol. This piece was produced circa mid 1950’s and is in outstanding condition. Snub Nose Kit guns are extremely hard to find in. It would be hard to upgrade on this presentation. Previous sales results from Rock Island Co lists two of these (Lot 506 May 5th 2017 and Lot 483 May 5th 2017) which sold for $1840.00 and $1955.00 respectively, because they were in this high condition. You can google S&W Kit guns and find these results.
Smith & Wesson’s Kit Gun was originally intended as a lightweight revolver for inclusion in a fisherman’s or trapper’s kit. The little .22 rimfire practically became a fashion accessory. Everyone had to have one, and many carried the piece in a Mackinaw pocket or the back jeans pocket while hiking or hunting. To complete the transaction, we will need a copy of your FFL or C&R of choice for shipping purposes. For payment we will accept personal checks, money orders, certified checks or cashiers’ checks. All major credit cards are acceptable. Personal checks require 8 business days to clear the bank. All other forms of payment receive same day as received shipping.
