Here is a very well done restoration of a Model 1885 Winchester single-shot in .38-55. Excellent bore, nice wood, good action. The number of the barrel weight may have been lost during the refinish but it feels as heavy as I remember a #3 weight barrel. Lettering is good and clear as is the caliber marking. It's a very nice rifle even if redone and offers an opportunity for the buyer to purchase a real Winchester at a bargain price, less than many modern imports. No ffl required as an antique.
