This Custom G33/40 barreled Mauser action by Tom Burgess metalsmith in .270 win with 22" barrel by Jim Baier/ Half Moon, Remains in as built conditon( there are a few ultra small blemishes from storage, but nothing that can't be quickly polished out prior to bluing), it is ready to be stocked by you or whichever stock maker you choose. This barreled action features several custom touches that Tom Burgess was known for, his retractable front sight blade, and pop up peep sight integrated into his own Redfield/Leupold type scope bases, that utilize a front rotary dovetail and adjustble screws at the rear that allow for windage adjustment..It has had a 2 position side safety installed as well as a checkered swept back bolt handle. It is set up for a blind magazine. It has a Blackburn trigger installed as well. The barreled action was completed in 4 of 1990.
