Description:
This is a typical, good plus condition example of a Model 1870 Springfield Trapdoor in .50-70. The lock is marked SPRINGFIELD and 1863. The barrels were left in the white and this one shows typical age mottling. The bore would rate good plus, with scattered light pitting. Very shootable. Stocks show typical light handling marks. Legible ESA cartouche on left flat below receiver. No cracks or splits. Should be a very good shooter. $950 + Shipping.
