This Rifle came to me from an estate. I believe it to be from the custom shop. I don't know if Winchester ever did a standard run of model 70s in 358 shooting times Alaskan.
There is no designation on the right side of the barrel where there is normally a designator such as classic, etc.
There is no custom shop proof Mark either but my understanding is that not all guns from the custom shop always got a proof barrel marking.
I believe this rifle to be unfired. It does have some scratches that I photographed that are the result of being moved around a safe I believe.
It has beautiful wood. It has a 24 inch barrel.
