Description:
Fabulous Remington model 16, in .22 caliber auto loading rifle. This rifle was produced in 1918. The serial number is 12109.
The barrel is 22 inches long, with very good bore and beautiful rifling and very minor pitting. The bluing overall is nice and is starting to freckle, outside front end of barrel has minor pitting with bluing missing in that area. Original butt plate bluing is nice with some freckling as well. The wood is very nice with the expected scratches and dings and no visible cracks. Over all this weapon is in beautiful condition for its age, being over 100 years old.
I do not shoot my collectable weapons. The rifle is sold as is with no warrantee. All used weapons should be checked by a gunsmith prior to firing.
The weapon will be shipped to the FFL of your choice, I pay the shipping and insurance fee to your FFL.
Payment method: Gun Tab or personal check or bank cashier check. Guns paid by check will be shipped after check clears our bank, approximately five to seven days to process.
