Ruger 1911 pistols have been a popular choice for 1911 enthusiasts for quite some time. Metal construction, quality parts and a reputation for accuracy while staying on the affordable side of the 1911 market are some great reasons why the SR 1911 remains a popular choice. Our pistol wears serial number 671-99670 and was manufactured in 2015.
This Commander sized 1911 has an extended thumb safety, bobbed hammer, extended magazine release, skeletonize trigger and Novak 3 dot sights.
The barrel is 4.25 inches and the pistol is fed from 7 round magazines. It has an attractive two-tone finish.
Black, rubber Hogue grips are currently installed but the original wooden grips are included with your purchase. The Hogue grips are in Excellent condition. The diamond, checkered Cocobolo grips are in Near Mint condition. Gray tape currently covers the front strap of the pistol and we have not removed it.
The bore is shiny, the barrel is bright and the rifling is strong. The single action trigger pull is very nice and light. The frame and slide are in Very Good – Excellent condition. There is one small scratch on the left side of the slide in the midst of the word “Ruger".
Overall, this is a very nice example of an SR 1911 that’s affordably priced and ready to roll!
Purchase includes the pistol as shown with replacement grips, original wood grips, (2) 7 round stainless magazines, original box, bushing wrench and owner’s manual.
This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test fired this pistol. We have performed our function checks and find no issues to report.
