New York City, NY. who was a Agent for the British Government, Double action 6-shot revolver, Features, 5-Screw square butt N-Frame, Round pinned barrel, Forged round blade front sight, Notch cut sight, Smooth .265\" trigger and .265\" checked hammer, Unshrouded shell extractor rod, Lanyard ring on butt, Checkered diamond walnut grips with gold S&W medallions, Original unshaved cylinder with visible serial numbers, Barrel length, 6.5\". SN:58107. Condition: Very Good. Good bore and strong action with good rifling, Cylinder locks up and index‚s correctly with faint drag line, All metal retains 85% original blued finish with light finish loss at high edges and muzzle crown, All metal shows few light freckles of aged specks of surface rust throughout, Hammer and trigger retain good original case colors, Grips are solid free of cracks and breaks with usual light wear to checkering.
