Description:
Lightly used (JM) Marlin 336 saddle-ring rifle in 44 Magnum. The left side of the 20" barrel is marked "THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN, CT. U.S.A. / EST. 1870 - MICRO GROOVED BARREL - MOD. 336– CAL. 44 Magnum". The left side of the barrel at the receiver and the hammer extension are marked "JM". The bottom tang is marked with the serial number "AA 1955". The front sight is a hooded beaded blade dovetailed to a serrated ramp. The rear sight has been removed and filled with a dovetailed blank. The left side of the receiver is mounted with an adjustable Lyman aperture sight. The stocks are two-piece smooth walnut and forearm, straight grip, fluted straight comb, and a black checkered Marlin buttplate. .44 Magnum
