The combination of Old-World craftsmanship and conveniences of modern manufacturing make this gun a great option for someone who is interested in having a special gun but not wanting to worry about tampering with a historically correct or historically important gun being modified to fit their preferences.  Professional restoration of the barrel blue, the addition of barrel sleeves, vibrant case color on the action, and beautiful hand-rubbed oil finish on the stock have given this gun from the late 1890s/early1900s new life.  The lithe Dickson Round Body action will catch the attention of curious onlookers at the clays course or the hunt club.  The crisp double triggers, auto-safety, and ejectors all function as you would expect.  BRILEY Screw-in chokes in a Dickson may be sacrilegious to some, but if you want to be able to shoot one classy shotgun in the field, and on the clays course, this is the gun for you.  Please enjoy the detailed photos and specifications to get a more complete understanding of this unique gun.
