Smith-Corona U.S. Model 1903-A3 bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06. This rifle is a shooter-grade example featuring the correct A3 aperture sights and smooth bolt operation.
The rifle has been modified from original military configuration with a drilled and tapped receiver, scope mounting hardware, and a replacement recoil pad. Finish wear and muzzle wear are present, consistent with age and use. Bore shows visible rifling. Includes leather sling. A solid historical shooter and range rifle chambered in the classic .30-06 cartridge.
