This Winchester was produced in 1892 in the first year of production. The rifle's serial number is 3807. This rifle has the standard round barrel chambered to shoot the 38 W.C.F. [38-40] cartridge. The bore is in about good or better condition. The sights are original to this Winchester. The action works fine with no issues. The old refinish would rate a 96% on the barrel and magazine tube. The receiver would rate a 97% overall condition. The screws have no flat surfaces. The corners and lettering is in fine condition. The stock and forend is in fine condition with no cracks or damage to the wood. This is a decent refinished first year Model 1892! These early Winchester Model 1892's saw hard service, this Winchester is no exception. There is no sign of abuse and poor handling. This is a honest used Winchester!
