These were made after (WW 2) as an inexpensive and safer 22 cal target rifle, after firing, the safe returns to safe position, a really safe addition for the young beginner shooter !! It was also the least produced, of all the Bolt 22 caliber Winchester rifles, and to find one in this mint condition is rare ! It has been with me for over 50 yrs, for all my grandkids and now Great Grandkids, to learn safety at the range, as you can see they were very careful ! Blue is Mint and wood 99.9%, perfect bore and very accurate also! Its time for another instructor at the range ! Probably not shot more than 4 boxes of 50 over the years, it's not a semi auto ! check the condition out, near new !
