Description: This is a Marlin Model 1894 chambered for .44 Special and .44 Magnum. It has a 20" barrel with blued surfaces and a black matte finish on the top and underside of the receiver and tangs. Left side barrel markings; "THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN CT. U.S.A. / MODEL 1894 – CAL. 44 REM. MAG. OR 44SPL". Marlin's two-line warning is marked on the right shoulder of the barrel. The top tang is marked "92019276". The front sight is a blade bead dovetailed into the top of a serrated ramped base screwed to the barrel. This gun is also fitted with an optics rail and a Leupold FX-11 2.5X28MM SCOUT SCOPE. The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with a satin finish. There is a smooth diamond pattern in the bottom center of the forend checkering and on each side of the wrist. The buttstock has a straight grip with a Marlin recoil pad and the forend has a blued steel nose cap. There is a sling swivel studs mounted in the belly and another on the bottom of the forend nose cap.
