Description:
Standard Products was one of 10 or so, manufacturers of the M1 Carbine. They produced about a 1/4 million of the rifles over a period of a year and a half in the 1943-1944 time period. They were part of the automotive group of companies in Michigan, that supported the war with manufacturing expertise. This one has been used, and it would be really interesting to see a history of carry on the rifle. It has an Underwood barrel dated 1-44, and has Type 2 sights, and the cartouche on the stock is appropriate for a Standard rifle. .30 Carbine
