Description:
The Ruger Gunsite Scout rifle shoots 53.56 NATO Winchester cartridges with a 10-round capacity. Front sight is a protected blade and the rear sight is in adjustable aperture-style. It contains detachable box magazine with push-forward magazine release just forward of the trigger guard. Integral scope mounts, implemented directly on the receiver, give a firm mounting surface for included scope rings. Free-floating, cold hammer-forged barrel provides great accuracy. It has a rugged and reliable glass-reinforced nylon trigger guard and magazine well. This rifle has non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor, one of the most positive ever made and it also features a fixed blade-type ejector. It also includes rugged, one-piece, stainless steel bolt, three-position safety and sling swivel studs. Overall, it is a classical rifle ideal for hunting and home defense. 5.56 NATO
