General Motors, Saginaw Steering Gear US Carbine is chambered in .30M1 and in excellent condition. Firearm shows little wear on it also comes with one magazine, sling and oiler. All parts are original (Stock, Magazine, Sights, Oiler and Sling). Saginaw Gear Div. M1 Carbine was designed to be lightweight, compact, and suitable for medium_range engagements. This M1 was produced by General Motors at the Saginaw Gear Division in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the Irwin-Pedersen plant during WWII. Today the Saginaw M1 Carbine remains a highly prized item by collectors due to its historical significance and the quality of the firearm. This M1 is in very nice shape and would be a great addition to any collection. The production of the carbine by Saginaw more efficiently armed a large number of US soldiers during WWII. This firearm is being offered by the Grandville Cabela's Gun Library. We will ship for free to your local Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops for transfer to you.
