This is the only site I use and do not plan to change. Description: Here is a rare find, an Old Army with a 4 didget serial number. It was made in 1976 and is in excellent condition. It has a 7 1/2 inch barrel with a bright shiny bore. These are the strongest and the best designed C & B revolvers ever made. These are actually .45 caliber, but the .44 was always called as such. These guns take a .457 ball which makes them safe to load without useing grease to prevent cross over firing more than one cylinder at a time. The design of the cylinder also stops fouling entering the cylinder pin area and causing the gun to have to be cleaned after 3 cylinders were fired. You can shoot these all day without cleaning. This dosen't mean they do not need to be cleaned after shooting. Black powder is corrosive and must be cleaned out after shooting. Considered antique, no paperwork in most locations $35.00 Shipping to your door via Priority Mail Price: $1,300.00 Antique: Yes |
