Offered for sale is a nice example of an original WW2 Contract M1911A1 made by Remington Rand. Likely Shipped sometime in 1944 this pistol is a bread and butter WW2 pistol with all the original parts and no modifications. The blued High Standard barrel is marked HS and P proofed. The bore is perfect! This variant is known as a Type 3 slide address. Included 1 blue General Shaver WW2 contract magazine marked with a G.
