The Elan Classic is an African-style double rifle, or “express” as these hunting guns were called in the golden age of the safari. Chapuis has modernized the looks and features of this traditional design, making it perfect for the safari hunter of today who still prefers to trek in the veldt with a double rifle. Unlike the oldies, the Elan offers ejectors, manual safety, provision for scope mounting, and a maneuverable overall length of approximately 41 inches (max). Grade 3 Circassian walnut stock with cheek piece, extensive scroll and game engraved boxlock action.
