Mechanical condition is as-new; top lever is well to the right, barrels open with smooth resistance as if new, and the trigger operates mechanically. Hammer cocking timing and ejector timing are both perfect and match that of new guns from the Guerini factory. Metal finish is 98% of new.

The action is engraved with an interesting roundel motif surrounded by neoclassical scroll covering the action and side plates. Barrels are gloss-blued with solid top- and side ribs. Choke tubes are factory screw-in. The Apex bears an extended trigger guard tang and skeletonized grip grip. Factory oil finish over well-figured Turkish walnut with a wooden buttplate. Comes complete in factory case with choke tubes and accessories.
