Description:
Winchester 12 gauge pump shotgun was described as stripped down no frills version of the model 12 which was less expensive shotgun for the average man. This gun was only made between 1949 and 1954 with 87,937 produced. The barrel length is 28 inches with a modified choke and mechanically very solid. The White Line recoil pad was added years ago and is somewhat deteriated. The wood is free from splits and substantial scratch/dents with most of the finish in tact, blueing has some sharp area and carrying wear and a spot of surface rust on left side. The only real drawback is a previous owner etched his social security number on the bottom near the serial number shown in the photos. A little emery cloth and cold blue would solve this issue.
