Description:
Winchester Boar 12 gauge x 7x57 Mauser combination gun. Serial AMS-18EX has 25-inch barrels (fixed full choke, ramp front sight with Lyman brass-beaded blade, matted rib with adjustable folding rear sight, sling swivel stud, three-inch, ejectors). Features include an automatic safety/selector, single mechanical trigger and detachable mounts (one-inch high rings). STOCK: The forend is dressed with a Schnabel tip, finger grooves and fine wrapping bordered checkering. The butt has a scalloped cheek rest, steel grip cap, toe line stud and a logo recoil pad. ENGRAVING: The receiver has three etched game scenes (deer, pheasant, boar) surrounded by leafy vine borders. The pattern reappears on the latch, lever, lower tang and cap. No box or papers. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 8.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.5 inches. CONDITION: Bores are strong and bright. Barrels are on face. Lever rests right of center. Metal finish is at least 90 percent. Wood is approximately 85 percent with scattered impressions and rubs. The price is firm and layaway is available. $3,250 plus shipping.
