This is a Winchester Model 1911 SL (\"Self-Loading\") chambered in a 12-gauge, produced between 1911 and 1925, & famously nicknamed the \"Widowmaker\". It features a distinctive knurled barrel section for charging, rather than a traditional handle, as it was designed to circumvent Browning patents.
This gun earned the nickname \"Widowmaker\" because users would sometimes push the barrel against the ground to chamber a round, risking accidental discharge into their own heads.
