Description:
Cole Special Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon Sporting with 20 and 28 gauge barrel sets. Made circa 2019, serial is RC0407 and all numbers match. Both barrel sets are 32 inches with matted vent ribs (.315-inch width, single white bead, ejectors). The 20 gauge set (number 1) has 3-inch chambers and six choke tubes (F/IM/M/IC/SK/SK) and the 28 gauge set (number 2) also has six tubes (F/IM/M/IC/SK/C). Features include a manual tang safety/selector and a single mechanical trigger. STOCK: Personally selected from a large shipment by the consignor, wood figure is exceptional. Appointments include bordered fields of fine checkering, pistol grip with right side palm swell, logo recoil pad and an oil finish. DIMENSIONS: Weights are 6.8 pounds (20 gauge barrels) and 7.0 pounds (28 gauge barrels). Length-of-pull is 14.5 inches, drops are 1.5 and 2.25 inches, and cast off is approximately .35 inches. Bores are strong and bright, both barrel sets are on face and all mechanics are solid. Metal finish is at least 97 percent with but trace indications of handling. Wood is also 97 percent with a few minor impressions scattered along the butt. INCLUSIONS: The original hard case with literature, along with the original shipping sleeve is present. The price is firm and layaway is available. $4,750 plus shipping.
