Here is an excellent Winchester 1885 High Wall, re-lined to .22 Long Rifle by C. C. Johnson of Thackery, Ohio. Johnson was one of the country’s leading accuracy ‘smiths, specializing in target .22s. The consignor states that this rifle is capable of MOA groups. The barrel is 27” with a perfect bore. The beautifully figured stock has a 13 ½” length of pull over a Bakelite butt. The weight is 7 lbs 15 oz. An rare find for the aficionado of classic American target rifles.
