"Serial No. 641052, manufactured in 1942, chambered in 6.5×55 with a 24"" round threaded barrel. The bore is good with strong rifling, reflecting the high manufacturing standards of Swedish service rifles. Metal surfaces are thinning to a light grey patina, with areas of original blue still visible on the receiver. The stock remains in good condition, showing light surface impressions from handling and storage. Overall presentation is clean and honest. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A solid and attractive example of a Husqvarna-produced M38.
