Offered here is a Colt M4 HBAR Match Target rifle chambered in .223 Remington with a 20 inch heavy barrel, manufactured in the 1990s during a period when Colt was producing some of the most desirable civilian AR 15 pattern rifles. This example represents the classic post ban Match Target configuration, built with Colt’s well known attention to durability, accuracy, and long term reliability.
This rifle features the desirable 20 inch Heavy Barrel (HBAR) profile, which provides enhanced rigidity over standard profile barrels. The added mass helps reduce barrel vibration and heat distortion during extended shooting sessions, contributing to more consistent accuracy.
