Description:
Model 1874 45-110 Bridgeport Sharps 10.5 pound rifle. The front site is an ivory blade. The bore on this rifle is very good and the rifle shoots the same, very well. I believe this rifle is a Montana rifle, and it may very well have been shipped to Walter Cooper, the famous Montana gun dealer located in Bozeman. This was a favorite caliber that Cooper ordered in, or re-chambered rifles to. This rifle was obviously packed across a saddle some, judging by the wear on the forearm. This is a great example of the classic frontier buffalo rifle.
