Description:
28 inch round nickel steel barrel is marked 30 US. Pinned blade with bead front sight and half buckhorn sporting rear. Top of breechblock is retailer marked "FROM W.F. SHEARD/ TOCOMA, WASH.". Checkered deluxe walnut stocks. Winchester marked hard rubber shotgun style buttplate. Metal surfaces are mostly clean and smooth showing light wear and handling marks with the barrel showing 90% original blue, the receiver showing about 80% and the lever and magazine showing about 70%. The bore is excellent, bright and shiny with strong rifling. The stocks are solid and full fitting having been freshened up some time ago with a coat of finish added over muted checkering now showing light wear and handling marks.
