Description:
This a US Model 1916 Colt 1911 .45 Holster with Belt Hanger. The holster is in very good original condition with tight stitching and supple leather. Nice hardware with just a touch of verdigris, embossed US on the front. This holster has no makers mark but is marked on the inside of the flap "HO CO" 37 over 60 over 37. It has an attached belt hanger marked "Q.M.C." quarter master corp, "JEFF" for Jeffersonville arsenal with a date of 1921. Over-all and really nice example.;
