Description:
Serial #17823 & #17824, .31 Caliber black powder percussion with 4 inch octagon barrels with bright, excellent bores. This is a set of two consecutive serial numbered second generation Colt "Baby" 3rd model Dragoon revolvers. In excellent, like new condition the revolvers retain virtually all, 98-99% plus original blue finish on the barrels and cylinders with only a hint of a turn mark and some scattered handling marks and a few scattered dried grease marks. The silver plated grip frame has aged naturally to a pleasing gray and the color case hardened frame and hammers show vibrant color with some freckling on the hammer sides. The grips rate excellent. Each comes in the original factory Colt boxes numbered to the gun. Antique
