Antique J Stevens & Co Vernier New Model Pocket Rifle 32 Long Rim Fire Spur Trigger Top Break Single Shot with a 17 7/8" Octagon Barrel and Fixed Sights. Rear Tang Mounted Adjustable Rear Peep Sight and a Flip Up Front Sight. The Nickel Finish on the Frame and Stock is in Good Vintage Condition with Marks and Scratches. the Bluing on the Barrel is in Good Vintage Condition with Fading, Edge Wear, and Scratches. The Smooth Wood Grips are in Good Vintage Condition with Scratches and Dents - Free of Cracks. Nice Strong Action. The Bore is Good with Good Shine and Strong Rifling. The Serial Number is 3117 on the Bottom Left of the Barrel. J Stevens Made these from 1894 to 1896 and there were an Estimate 1500 Units Produced.
