Here is an excellent 1909 Argentine Mauser in 7.65x53. The 24" stepped barrel is original to the rifle, and has an excellent bore. The barrel features a half-banded ramped front sight, a barrel band sling eye, and a quarter rib with express sights, marked to 300 yards. A Lyman sight is installed. The action is smooth. The floor-plate is hinged. The bolt handle and additional metalwork was done by Dennis Olsen. The beautifully figured stock was made by Bill Ferguson. The stock has crisp, fine checkering, and an ebony fore-end tip. The length of pull is 14 1/2" over a leather butt-pad. The weight is 7 lbs 10 oz. This is a wonderful, high-quality rifle in a great chambering.
