- .22 lr caliber
- Nickel finish
- Checkered medallion walnut grips
- Adjustable rear sight, ramp front
- 6 shot fluted recessed cylinder
- 4" pinned barrel
- Made in 1960-1961 (very early production of this model)
- Just after the .22/32 Kit Gun (pre-model 34) change over
- The -1 indicates the change from the I frame to the J frame
- Has (non original) blue box with paperwork and S&W paper
- Very nice action
- Color case hardened trigger and hammer
