Description:
The Security Six was designed to be a police/military revolver, competing with the established Colt and S&W models. They designed it to be adaptable and heavy duty with robust parts for durability. Eventually the line morphed into the GP100 series of revolvers, known for their vault-like lockup. The whole "Security" line from Ruger was very well-received and was issued to police and military around the world. It was a mainstay for "private cops" as well, forming a first line of defense for civilians as well. .357 Magnum
