Blade material 154CM, believe scale material is Buffalo Horn or Ram's Horn (not sure). Nickel Silver Bolster material. Knife was made for retired USMC Jack Traylor who has passed. Only knife like it I can find is listed on Knife Purveyor under "Mel Pardue Custom Knife Rams Horn Jumbo Lockback" This knife was then sent to Master Engraver Fred Henderson. You can research him to find he has engraved Bicentennial rifle for President Gerald Ford, Miniature Naval Cannon for Governor Jimmy Carter, a shotgun for Hank Aaron and a Engraved jewelry box for Amy Grant. Fred Henderson is well known for his master engraving on knives which is easily researched. Lastly the knife was forwarded to Ernest "Dubba" Schulenburg, passed in 2022, for Etching and Painting of Scales. You can find more information about "Dubba" by researching his name from Carrollton Georgia. Jack Traylor was inspired by General William Mcintosh on one side of knife and Menawa on the reverse side. Both can be researched under the heading "Betrayal at Indian Springs". Knife is signed by Mel Pardue, Fred Henderson and "Dubba" This a large knife, tried to take a picture with it in my hand so you can try and put into scale the size... Truly a one of a kind knife collaborated by four individuals, Mel Pardue - knife maker, Fred Henderson - Engraver, Earnest "Dubba" Schulenburg - Etching and Jac Traylor a United State Marine that Custom Ordered and designed for his personal collection.
