Description: General Specs: Mauser, 1970-1978, .30 Luger, 33oz. 6" Serial Number: 10.003566 Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer the ever-iconic P.08 Luger, appearing in countless films and video games and became sought after trophies by allied soldiers. The origins began with DWM’s request that George Luger improve upon Borchardt’s C93 and thus the Classic P.08 was born. The P.08 Luger’s enduring legacy prompted a 1970s revival by Interarms and Mauser. Since the original German tooling was lost, Mauser used the Swiss Model 1929 as a template for this production known as the Mauser Parabellum American Eagle. This version featured a 1911-style grip safety, an American Eagle crest over the breech, and featured a higher standard finish than its wartime predecessors. Mauser eventually ceased production in the later half of the 1970s making them rather exclusive. This example serial number 10.003566 is chambered to fire .30 Luger and apart from the factory test fire is unfired! It comes with its original box, presentation case, documents, and accessories. Don’t let this German classic get away! Vintage Firearms invites you to have a look at the detailed specifications and pictures below. Thanks for looking!
