Description:
This is a WWII produced M1905 1942-1943 production bayonet manufactured by Union Fork and Hoe in Rome, NY with the grips made by Norton Laboratories in Lockport, NY dated 1942. It comes in a Beckwith USN Mk1 scabbard with a with a leather tipped white cotton canvas parade cover. In excellent condition the 20.5" OAL bayonet has a 16" unsharpened blade with 12 inch fullers and has an excellent parkerized finish. It is marked "U.F.H. / U. (flaming bomb) S. /1942" on the reverse. The grips are in excellent condition. The scabbard remains in excellent condition as does the parade cover. An excellent example of this WWII M1905 bayonet.
