Its been a while since Ive seen one of these. Very good overall condition, completely untouched, open grain walnut, visible cartouches, serial number range mid Civil War. Pleasant patina on the metal is mixed with numerous tiny aged scuff marks, especially on the massive brass attachment and speak of regular use. There are 3 serial numbers and they are all matching, with typical colt serial numbers fonts.
