Description:
We have a very nice remington 660 carbine in the very desirable 6mm Remington and will also shoot the 244 remington very well indeed. The 6mm marked guns had a faster rifling twist to accomodate the 100 and 105 gr bullets. This one is all factory configuration except for the added sling swivels and the filled hole where the receiver sight was installed, see pictures for detail.
Only made from 1968-71 and not many in the 6mm Remington. This gun retains a solid 96% wood and factory blue finish, bright bore, and functions perfectly, a fun gun to shoot. Barrel length is 20" and it weighs 7# and 6 oz as pictured. These carbines generally shot very well because of the heavy contour barrels.
