Description:
This Winchester Model 70 Featherweight was produced in 1958. The rifle's serial number is 435123. This rifle has the standard 24 inch barrel chambered for the 30 Government 1906 [30-06] Cartridge. This rifle appears to be in unfired condition. The bolt face shows no sign of a fire ring or use. The original bluing would rate a 99% or better condition. The bolt is properly serial numbered to the receiver. The rifle stock does have some very light storage dings and surface dents. These storage dings are all on the left side of the stock below the Winchester Trade Mark on the receiver and on one spot on the left side of the stock centrally located between the pistol grip and butt plate. This Stock still has the original aluminum butt plate. The trigger guard and floor plate retain all of the bluing. This Winchester was never fitted for a Scope. This is a really fine condition Winchester Featherweight that would be a real standout in any Winchester Collection!
