32979-PHILADELPHIA ARMS CO. FOX C GRADE 12 GAUGE SIDE X SIDE SHOTGUN CIRCA 1902. 26” barrels with 2 ¾” chambers choked Modified and Modified. Serial number 374 and listed by number in Michael McIntosh’s book “A. H. FOX” on page 74. Double triggers, auto safety, extractors. Game scene engraved frame and “FOX” in a small cartouche on both sides. Barrel rib engraved “PHILADELPHIA ARMS CO. MAKERS PHILA. PA. KRUPP STEEL”. Factory original straight grip checkered stock 1 ½”, 2 ½” drop. 14” pull over hard rubber butt plate. Original fine condition with greying case hardening on frame and 90-95% barrel blue. Wood with the original finish. Toe of stock and plate chipped ¼”. Working order and bright bores. $1500.
