Description: ***** CABIN FEVER SPECIAL - FREE SHIPPING ***** Winchester Model 94 saddle ring carbine in caliber 30 WCF (30-30) originally made in 1925 by the serial number. Very interesting piece as it has a factory original plain pistol grip stock with correct grip cap, very scarce for a carbine; factory 1/2 mag, plain stocks and plain trigger, saddle ring intact on left side of receiver, blued finish. Also had a brass butt plate with the widow's peak, and all the assembly numbers match! Assembly number 1581 appears on the left lower tang, back of butt stock, bottom inner toe of butt plate. Went back to Winchester to have a barrel update - barrel is dated "46" on the underside, having the correct ramp front sight (missing the hood) and the left side of the receiver updated to accept a Lyman, Redfield or Williams peep sight (this became a standard feature of the 94 after WWII and a standard feature of the Model 64 from its inception in the mid-1930s). The correct sights for the period of the barrel remain intact. CONDITION: Barrel retains 65% original bright blue between the rear sight and rear barrel band, fading from wear to only 10% patina at the muzzle, and worn gray at the breech from carry wear; likewise the front half of the receiver is gray from carry wear, with the rear half and tangs having very bright original blue. Mag tube cap worn gray. Lever retains 5% original case colors, the rest turned a smoky patina. Stocks are basically sound with two small very well done repairs in the upper corners at the tang/receiver junction, with multiple scratches, nicks and dings, still tight and proud except at the butt plate which is slightly above the wood at the top and bottom toes. Butt plate in good condition with some nicks and dings, aged to a nice even mustard color. Bore is a 9.5 out of 10, mirror bright and shiny no pitting whatsoever. Action is smooth with a properly working half cock safety. This is an interesting collector's piece and super hard to find, should also make a great shooter/hunter, so don't miss a chance to add this to your collection! TERMS: Must ship to FFL dealer or C&R licensee. New York State buyers must have the item ship to an FFL dealer only, no C&R. 3 day non-firing inspection. Buyer pays return shipping.
