Description:
Jonathan Browning Mountain Rifle. Made in 1978 to celebrate the centennial of Browning Firearms. This is gun# 327 of 1000 made.This is a Hawken style rifle in .50 caliber with a 30 inch octagonal barrel, 1/60 twist. Has two barrel wedges, adjustable single set trigger,crescent buttplate,buckhorn rear sight.. Bore is excellent as this rifle remains unfired. Has a high grade walnut stock showing no marks whatsoever. Comes in a wooden form fitted display case. Case does have some wear and marks from 48 years of handling. Comes with a powder horn also marked with serial nymber 327, same as the rifle. Powder horn strap was replaced due to leather being old and cracked. A horn powder measure was also added. Accessories include owners manual,extra nipple, nipple wrench, patch worm,jag, and two additional main springs. Rifle is new and unfired.
