side plate looks to have be altered, as in turned with a step, or replaced removing the name
brass frame with most of the blackening or graying worn off, some still under the barrel
grips show 2 chips out of right side, otherwise good shape for age
iron or steel barrel is gray in finish, as is hammer
frosty bore with shallow rifling,
2-3/4 inches long
manual extractor moves freely
all marked parts are marked S or SS, including internal sear
neat old derringer very uncommon
