THIS IS A STRONG WELL MADE REPLACEMENT STOCK FOR A M1 CARBINE THAT WILL FIT EITHER AN ORIGINAL MILITARY OR A LATER COMMERCIAL VERSION. IT IS MADE OF A BLACK POLYMER WITH A TELESCOPING WIRE STOCK THAT IS EXTREMELY RIGID. THE STOCK CAN BE LOCKED INTO THREE DIFFERENT POSITIONS; FULLY CLOSED (PISTOL GRIP), HALF OPEN, AND FULLY EXTENDED.(SEE PICTURES)./ ANY M1 CARBINE WILL DROP INTO THIS STOCK WITHOUT ANY MODIFICATIONS. I CAN TELL YOU FROM EXPERIENCE A CARBINE IS FUN TO SHOOT WITH A PISTOL GRIP!!!
