Marlin 1898 is chambered in .25-36 Marlin and in very good condition. Firearm has some wear on the stock, also being sold as firearm only. A lever-action rifle designed for early smokeless powder, manufactured 1899. It features a 20-inch round barrel, "Special Smokeless Steel" marking, and a rimmed .25-36 caliber, which is derived from the .32-40 Ballard case. It's known for a solid-top receiver, side ejection, and magazine capacity for this versatile, small-to-medium game cartridge. SKU: 4781541 None
